As the name implies this series would be all about the basics of branding that you as a business owner should pay attention to.
As a business owner, you HAVE to consider your branding if you want to be successful. You may think that branding is unimportant in your industry.
Let me ask you a question.
When you ask for a review from a client or customer what do they usually say about you?
For example:
They may say that you’ve met their expectations, you were fast, reliable, had excellent customer service, were on time and very knowledgeable.
THAT, my dearies is your current brand standing.
Why is it important?
Your branding sets expectations to the people who buy from you and influences their perception of you. If you don’t appear professional, organized and ‘ghetto’ (yes I said it) then a prospective customer will either;
one: Turn away and choose someone else
or
two: give you a chance because your price is cheap and not expect much.
It’s really that simple!
Excellent branding allows you to build trust and loyalty with past and future clients and can also allow you to increase your prices.
